Audio Walk Instructions
The tour will begin on 52 Camden Street Lower (this is the correct address, there is an error on the map below). All you have to do is go to this spot, look for the 'International Tailors, Pressers and Machinists Union' plaque,' put your earphones in and hit play. You will be guided around the area by a fictional character, and will also be provided with a map of the route. The walk is divided into three sections, with multiple stops in each. You will learn about the history of the Jewish community of Little Jerusalem, and also hear stories and accounts of their lives in the area.
At the bottom of this page you will find photos relating to the topics of each section. The audio directions are designed for a slow to medium paced walk, but the tour caters for all speeds. If you find yourself ahead or behind of the audio directions, just pause the tour and catch up, or use the map to find where the next stop is. For the purposes of quality, and in case of loss of a data connection, we recommend to download all sections of the audio walk and the map before conducting the tour.
